First AAPP Alpe Adria Plant Physiology Meeting

5th-6th March 2026 (Udine – Rauscedo)

Welcome to the first AAPP meeting

“Tree Dieback” by Aldo Russo

At a time when global changes are permanently altering agriculture and natural environments, we felt it was important to organize a meeting bringing together plant physiology researchers from Alpe Adria.
This meeting is particularly dedicated to young researchers and aims to stimulate the exchange of ideas and the development of joint projects that transcend administrative boundaries, enabling shared research strategies for the management of cultivated plants and natural environments that are especially affected by climate variability, such as forests, coastlines, and vegetation above the tree line.

The meeting also seeks to strengthen the dialogue between academic research and stakeholders operating in the area, including local companies and innovation-oriented enterprises such as VCR. By connecting people and fundamental research with applied perspectives, the event will facilitate knowledge transfer and foster collaborations with tangible impacts on the territory.

To register at the First AAPP fill the form and submit your abstract (max 250 words) at  aappmeeting2026@gmail.com
